SageTV is Recording live TV even when the HD100 is off
I noticed some strange behavior lately. Sage Server is recording TV broadcasts even when the HD100 extender is turned off. Typically, when you watch a show, it records to a buffer but then deletes the file after you stop watching. Well that is what's happening and continues to record even though no one is watching anything and keeps my disk very active. This never happened before so I'm wondering what's wrong. I do have the HD100 configured to show live tv when viewing the menus so could it be that when i'm looking at the tv guide and live TV is showing in the upper right corner, the TV show continues to record if i shut the extender off while the live TV is showing in the menu?

You'll need to press your stop button so that the video stops playing before you power down the hd100. And set it to display video on menus - If Active instead of always in the video options menu.
