Playback freezes with SageTV 6.5.9
I just upgraded to SageTV 6.5.9 from Version 5 and have been experiencing a significant number of problems. The main one is that playback freezes quite frequently especially during fast forward, rewind, or pause. I never had this issue with V5. I can't say for sure but it seems to be happening while another show is being recorded.
Now whether its related or not the screen will sometimes freeze on the last TV image when I'm navigating the SageTV menus. Usually it comes right if I move around with the arrow buttons. I am using a Hauppauge PVR-350 which is known for its problems but my quandry is that everything was working quite well in V5. Any ideas what is causing this behavior? I have tried the PVR 350 in both hardware decoding and software with the same problems. Thanks, Mark. Last edited by SkierHiker; 04-06-2009 at 05:48 PM.

Just for the record, I bought a separate TV-Out video card and have not had any freeze problems. So the culprit must have been my PVR-350 card.
