SageMC 6.3.9b_8 pre-release bug.

I noticed that my osd menus are messed up with the newest pre-release. That, and sagetv takes a lot longer to open now.

Here is an example.

That looks like a SMW bug and probably a compatibility issue with SageMC 6.3.9b_8 and should really be in the SMW thread.

MeInMaui probably changed references for the video library and SMW can't find them anymore. Plucky should verify though.

The same thing happens in TV Explorer. Well, not exactly the same. SageTV just crashes when I try to open the menu.

I would hold off until there is a more stable release. Mike has been cranking out builds left and right and it looks like he is changing a lot of things due to fixing one bug and it breaking something else.

I would agree. Reverting back to the official release fixed the problems.

Sounds good. Do you know why my imported TV shows show up correctly as one show with many seasons and the shows I'm recording show up with no season causing TV Explorer to show more than one banner per show?

Here is what I mean. I don't know if this is a sagemc bug or not.

If the title of the series has unique titles (like Seriesname-S01-E01)then Sage will not group them as one series. Make sure that you're not re-writing the title of the series witn BMT.

Razor pointed me to this thread it does appear Mike changed some options menu's around and SMW can't link to them in the latest release. I will try to get something out of the next couple of days to accomodate it on my end with SMW.

I figured out what is going on. There were slight differences in the name of the show. Eg: The Office, The Office (2009). I fixed it manually with BMT's on-line interface.

Thanks for that. So far the last stable SageMC release has worked fine for me. No bugs to speak of. BTW I'm still waiting for my Music Wall. JK. Now that I've played with your v4 wall I like it very much. I can't wait to see what you and razor do with ortus.

ya thats one of the annoying things with thtvdb.com and their naming convention... Sean says he's working on some workarounds (basically overrides) so this won't happen, yay
