File Structure and other questions

I am very slowly getting some of the SMC configurations working thanks to everyone's help.
Running SMC and SMV on Mediasmart server. I think I have SMV working and finally got some fanart backgrounds going over the weekend. 2-3 questions that I think are related.

(Mediasmart's media collector, in my opinion, does a messy job of file structure. I am debating doing my own file moving. Any comments from people that may be usng a similar setup?)

1) I have quite a few individual song music videos that I would like separated from movies and tv. Is there a good way to do this? Ideally I guess it would be good to add another category to the main screen of "Music Videos" and have it point at a only particular folder? But is that even possible? (These files are not really music and they are not really videos)

It feels like I have quite a bit of stuff working and too much of it is accidental. I'd like to make sure my file structure on the server is set up the best way possible and isn't going to cause me issues, before I go too much further.

I think I have a couple other questions but these are a good start.

I went a little further this afternoon and think I am understanding a bit more.

After reading more of TVE, I went ahead and installed that. (It looks great by the way....and my wife likes it Thank you for the efforts!) It also answered a couple of my questions. Clearly, it's possible to add another menu item to the main screen since razor did that.

So is there by any chance, a similar stv that splits videos into a couple of categories based on file location of the videos? If so, then I might be able to take that and adapt it over to "Music Videos" on the main screen and point it at the right folder?

This is all assuming I am understanding some of what you are all doing.
