Incorrect Show Duration

I'm noticing that in my imported videos, some files are being incorrectly identified as 200:10 long shows when they should read 110 minutes or so. I changed the names to allow a re-import but they still come over as wrong length. I don't see this problem of duration identification with the same file in Arcsoft TMT3.

Just to explain more, these are .ts BD rips using ClownBD. Any way to correct?

Skyeclad,

I'm having the same issue with a bunch of my imported videos. At this point I don't know a pattern. All the files were recorded using either a PVR-150 or HVR-1800 and all are SD. All the files were run through VRD (Video Redo) long before I attempted to run them through Sage. They also run correctly using other PVR software (Beyond TV) and external video programs (IE, WMP), so I don't think this is something wrong with the videos themselves.

The machines are Window 7 Ultimate running Sage 6.6.2 and SageMC. I'm using ATI video cards (server has an old x1600, HTPC client runs a 4650). I'm still researching, but wanted to let you know I'm encountering the same thing.

Thanks,

G.

Chia74,

I ended up discovering the cause of my issue. It was the Native Recording Patch that allows for Windows 7 decoders to be used. It has problems with show durations and it causes some files to bog down SageTV service to the point of using 50% CPU constantly.

I removed the patch reluctantly as I liked the WIN 7 decoders but I couldn't handle the negative issues anymore. For what it's worth, the fix is supposed to be in the next beta but with no ETA so you'll have to be patient if this is what's wrong with your videos.
