There was a Playback Error in Playback using HD200

I just finish setting up the new HD-PVR 200. I have a problem viewing. I try to watch a TV, a video, YouTube no matter what it is I get the following message. SAGE.PLAYBACKEXCEPTION
I don't get any error code. I have no idea what this mean. I'm still new to this. I spend couple of hours going thru the forum, an didn't find anything that match my situation. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

did you upgrade the firmware on the hd-200? If not i highly reccomend doing that first off. Also, occasionally if the hd200 gags on a video it wont play any other videos without a powercycle (hard reset by removing power).

It probably doesnt matter, but are you using the HD-200 in extender or standalone mode? YOu posted in the mediaplayer section (standalone) but talk about TV so just want to make sure...

I'm using it as a extender. Yes I did upgrade it when I setup the HD200. I did a hard power cycle, I am unable to watch videos. Should I try the suggestions on the link you provided? Thanks for your quick response

Have you tried rebooting your Sage server? I don't have any suggestions for your particular problem, but anytime I run into an error of any sort the first thing I try is a reboot.

Def. try rebooting your server, and possibly increasing the java heap size...not sure what your server specs are, but i know when i switched from SageClientPCs at every TV to HD200 i ran into a similiar issue. What it came down to for me was that the Sage Server was freaking out because the java heap size was just simply not big enough to handle the server side magic that is done for the Hd200..... I solved this by rebooting the PC, using the tools i found in the forums to increase the java heap size to 1024....now everyone plays nice.
