HD200 and DTS

Hi!

Are there any plans at all to decode DTS in the Extender? I've now ripped all my Blu-Ray movies for Sage, but can only watch most of them on my main TV with the amp. Just using HD200 into another HD TV set I get no audio, Im guessing becuase the TV doesn't know what to do with DTS-MA.

Any chance someday the HD200 will covert to AC3?

Sorry, but from what I understand it's a negative, hardware can't support it.

Just use this utility to convert any DTS -> AC-3.

Good luck!

Thanks for that!

Is there any way you know of to remove the DTS track after, or at least order the new 5.1 track to track 1?

My kids don't quite get the hassle of having to select a different audio track when they watch one of the ripped Blu-rays on the TV without an amp.

Because it only adds the AC3, it shows up second and Sage (rightfully) always starts with audio track 1 by default.

Thanks

There is a flag to set the AC3 track as the default track, but not "track 1". It appears Sage is not respecting the "default" flag on the tracks and just starts with the "track 1" when you start to play it.

ClownBD can rip out the DTS tracks and leave just AC3 for your Blu-ray backups.
