HD-200 & HP EX495

I just got a HP EX495 and have transfered all my photos to it, about 15,000. The HD-200 sees the EX495 photos folders and I can drill down to the photos. But when I look at the photos on the HD-200, it shows them all as 0.0 file size and when a photo is selected it just shows a blank screen. These are 4 to 5 MB in size and .jpg format. Also the HD-200 dies when it tries to list the main photos folders. There are about 40 folders.
Any idea whay the HD-200 has such a hard time with simple photos and folders structure?

I believe the HD200 in stand-alone mode has a limit of how many media files it can handle (I think it is about 15,000). The new HD300 has more memory and can handle a lot more. I'm not sure what the symptoms are when you exceed the memory limit, but I know there are other threads in the forums about this issue if you search for them.

The little spinning cirlce on the screen just stops. But it still won't display jpeg or jpg files even when there are only 2 in folder. So it appears to have more issues in the standalone mode.
