multi-segment media file imports

Is it possible to import a 5 separate clips and have SageTV treat them as a single media object? Eg, so that it has a single timeline, and plays back as if it were one big file, rather than 5 small clips? I know that SageTV recordings can consist of multiple segments (like if you restart SageTV during a recording).

I have a script that downloads & converts flash video from a TV provider's site. I had been using MP4box to stitch the clips together into a single file, but something recently changed in the clips format so that MP4Box fails to stitch them together. So I was hoping to avoid stitching them together into a single file.

Thanks,

Drew

Only tv recordings can be multi-segmented. Imported videos are individual files only.
