HP proliant mico server

Not sure if anyone has spotted these but at the moment they are a really good deal

http://uk.insight.com/p/HPIA07FX3/hp...a-micro-t.html

Net price , after offer, £140.00 not bad for a raid 1 solution with room to add pcie cards.

Only a 1.3ghz processor , but as long as you are not doing any software encoding should be fine.
Note drivers that HP provide are for windows 2008 only.

Bugger... I'd looked at these a couple of months ago and convinced myself that I didn't have enough use for one at the giveaway price of £240...

It's a general HP offer so can be bought from anywhere in the UK, not just insight. Ebuyer is £235 with free shipping (£135 after cashback)

Details here http://www.hp.com/uk/proliantmicroserver

With the internal USB connector (flash boot ) and the pci-e slots it's tempting... The remote management card is only ~£60
