HD300: deep color and xvycc color space

Wanted to know if there were any settings in the HD300 (perhaps hidden) that can enable deep color and xvycc color space support?

Connecting to a projector that supports both. I have an xvycc camcorder, and still camera produces 12 bit per channel color.

The Sigma chip running the HD300 supports this.

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but do you really need deep color or xvycc color space, even for you camcorder? I realize the camcorder does it, but is there any reason to make use of it?

I wonder how this works with the various codecs for video. Do the codecs actually support deep color?

My Epson 8350 projector reports it is receiving 12 bit color from the HD-300, and it reports 10 bit color from my HD5450 ATI card.

Just FYI

Lightbulb Deep Color Recording

Just a thought...

Are you using a deep color recording? If you are watching recorded cable expecting deep color, you may be disappointed.

I imagine the HD300 will only show the format level that it can reliably display.

It will not show greater color space than the recorded video, but it may show a little bit less.
