Suddenly getting playback exception

Hi there,

I was trying to start a movie when my HD300 just shut itself off.

I powered it back up, and tried the move again, and again the thing shut down.

So I then tried other movies, and am now getting a playback exception and the movie won't play.

I am suddenly unable to play any of my content.

I restarted my server machine and started the service back up, turned on the HD300 again and am still having this problem.

Any ideas what this could be?

I would completely unplug your HD300 from the power, ethernet and audio/video for 1-2 minutes, and then reconnect and see if you still have the problem. Maybe you got a small spike that scrambled his brains and a complete hard-reset will give him a chance to get straightened out.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was not looking forward to having my HD300 busted on my one day off with my wife!

I get this problem every once in a while too. I have to power cycle the HD-300 and it goes away after that. No idea on the cause though...
