7.1.7 Beta - Can a Colossus and HD-PVR Exist Together?

Just curious if anyone has tried using an HD-PVR and Colossus with the 7.1.7 Beta.

I'd like to try a Colossus for a second tuner, but don't want the crashes associated with mixing the two. Also, I don't really want to shell out the coin for 2 Colossus at once or buy a second piece of older tech.

HD PVR w/ Optical audio + Colossus w/ Optical audio has been a no-go on the beta so far.

I'm testing HD PVR w/ Optical audio + Colossus w/ RCA audio now.

I currently have two Colossuses with HDMI and two HD-PVRs with component and analog. They work fine as long as I restart Sage daily.

HD PVR w/Optical + Colossus w/HDMI + HDHR
Been running since 7.1.7 came out with the latest Colossus driver without issue.

Recorded two HDHR(OTA) feeds Friday with the Colossus recording HBO movie over DirecTV H20 via HDMI and the HD-PVR recording the Nationwide race all at the same time. Went back and forth watching recorded shows and the race semi live with out issue. No problems on any recordings. Probably as stressed I my system gets.

Server is Win7-64 setup.

I have a nightly reboot on the server but that is not new for me as I have done therapeutic reboots as long as I can remember.

working well now with latest drivers and beta.
I do reboot nightly.
I did have one freeze about 30 hours after I upgraded to the latest colussus driver over a week ago, but that seemed to not be Colossus related since it happened at and end of a recording. I chaged my config so it did not ask to delete at end of recording and have not had that issue again.

I am using an HDPVR and a Colossus. Both are fed by Dish 211's using component connections.

Using 7.1.7 without issues so far.

Thanks to all for the comments. I think with 7.1.7 it's time to give the Colossus a try and see if it can live with my HD-PVR !

I appreciate it.

Red and White connectors.

I tried optical but had intermittent audio sync issues which aggravated the wife. I decided that surround sound wasn't that important to me while watching regular TV.

I will be using 211's with Component and L/R Analog Audio. We do not use surround so no need for optical audio unless it made the unit(s) run more smoothly.

I am happy with that setup.

Two: I agree with you - must keep WAF coefficient as high as possible.
