Wrong DVD duration

I am getting the wrong DVD Duration reported in my video collection. I am using MyMovies to supply info to Sage 7 with Properties files. When I look at the Properties file at what I assume to be the data Sage needs, it shows this for the 13th Warrior for example:

RunningTime=581400000

Is that the problem? Is this how Sage knows how long the movie is? Is this number wrong? Or should I post this over at MyMovies? I just don't know where the problem is, where to start.

I am using My Movies collection manager and the WHS My Movies software to simply provide data to Sage 7 and I am using an HD 300 as an extender from a WHS. I am not using Sage MM but, I thought someone here would have the answer. I apologize if I should not have posted here.

Nothing I can do it appears mymovies writes the wrong information to te properties files. They aren't converting it to what sagetv expects.

SMM will report the time as per the collection manager. I don't code or control the collection manager or how it writes property files.

To get changes into Sagetv core. You will need to have collection manager rewrite your property files.

Then stop sagetv service and set the reindex property on the server sage.properties and restart sagetv. That will force sagetv to reread property files.

How do you get CM to rewrite the property files? I just redid my TV series rips for the new folder/file structure and a bunch of the files got hosed as I was figuring out the best process. I ended up with properties files from the movie import side instead of the TV import side so I deleted them thinking CM would auto generate new ones after I fixed my problem.

in cm open up the options window. one of the categories is meta data storage (or something like that). scroll to the bottom of the options and you will see a button to regenerate all of the meta data file.

you will then need to reindex the database in sage like plucky said above.

How do you set the reindex property? Find it and edit it to some other value?

stop sage (including server)

open sage.properties in wordpad

search for reindex

change false to true

save and close file

restart sage and wait. you don't need to change reindex back to false.

has anyone loaded 4.01pr2 and tried this? I'd prefer to wait for 4.01 to be released, but I'm really curious to see if it has really been fixed.
