New TV Screen Suggestion

Rather than try to write a whole bunch of nonsense I made a short video of a particular TV screen that I think others may find useful as well as myself:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30718319/Pho...ve%20Screen.7z

Would a view like the above interest anyone here?

Is it even doable.....

I'll put some thought on that.

Here's a snapshot of the latest Seasons screen - it's a little more user friendly than it was.

Just a quick comment about the season view (which I like)... do we need (S3E1) in the right hand side, since you've selected season3 on the left, and Season3 is in the title. Maybe just,

1. The Cabin Show
2. For British Eyes Only
3. ...

That's my contribution

Sean.

I agree, and those parentheses are difficult to read too...

No one is ever happy.

I'll change it to EXX : <title>. I don't want to number it 1., 2., etc, because if there are missing episodes you'll have a list that is 2,6,7,8,11,13, etc. That just looks weird.

But you'll have to wait for 315 And i'll go ahead and add in the leading zero's all around, it was just easier not to have to worry about that

btl.

I actually don't have an issue with missing episode #s, since it shows easily that you are missing an episode

I was actually thinking of building a view that basically finds all the missing episodes for all tv shows... since there are a number of places where i've missed recordings, and not really known about it, and now that sagetv provides the episode #s, it makes this much easier.

There will be complaints if we have a list that isn't inclusive - and for the ideal case (you aren't missing any episodes) it's not obvious if you just have a digit then period ("1.") that it's an Episode Number and not just a numbered list.

Yeah, I agree. I'll just work on that alternate view that shows missing episodes... that way I can easily spot them anyways, when needed.
