Phoenix Build 406

Build 406 released. It should fix the grid issue that some people were experiencing. Plus i've updated the release notes to include 405 and 406.

Thanks guys grid works great now, looks like it resolved that first load issue of some posters not showing up.

On another more technical note. What implementation changes did you all put in to improve the speed of the grid and image loading? It's way more responsive now..

Is it possible to change the default on the delete mini-dialog? It defaults to Don't Delete, which means extra clicks every time I try to delete stuff. I'd prefer it to default to Delete & Set Watched.

No, that's not something we'll be doing - it's purposefully not easy to delete stuff. The default action will always be the least destructive to make accidental key events as painless as possible.

btl.

Heh, then I hope you misunderstood me... I understand making that the default. How about adding a setting where I can override it? I know you have expressed a reluctance to add a million geek-settings to everything, but it does seem as there are 2 very different ways to use sage (let sage delete or manually delete - I use both as I delete my stuff but keep all kid stuff) and making it hard to delete things runs very contrary to one.

I love the customizability of the views and menus, maybe a "watched" filter will effect the result I'm looking for in manually deleting recordings. Doesnt really help with imports, though.

For some reason delete seems to have stopped working in lists for me.

My delete button does not work either. Also the play-menue seem to have changed on the client but not on the extender.

But anyway, thanks for a great job.

I'm not sure what you mean by the play-menue? But I think I probably broke delete key in the Single List with the optimizations I put in (can you tell we don't like deleting things? ) The next release will have enhanced delete options.

Hmm, I think I got that now . The thing is that due to poor epg data, I get lots and lots of re-runs recorded. Delete is therefore one of the most used commands on my remote.

Thanks for looking into it

When I hit ok to a show I don't the new play-clear-delete option menu. Its still the old one with the vertical button structure.
