Question re:HDHomeRun Extend

This is not a question about SageTV per se, but knowing how many people in this forum use HDHomeRun devices, I was hoping someone could answer this question.

The HDHomeRun Extend is DLNA certified. If I were to use either a DLNA-capable television or blu-ray player, can I view live television forwarded from the Extend? And even more importantly, would I be able to change channels using the TV or blu-ray remote? Would there be any sort of guide capability?

I can't answer all of your questions here but I have tried live TV from my HDHR-3s from my Samsung smart TV and it worked. I think I have changed channels as well in that it asked me before it started to send me a signal but it has been so long ago now I could be wrong. Don't have any idea at all about a guide.
