HD100 sometimes will only power with red power light

I had one of my HD100 start to have a problem where it will not boot after a power cycle. The power supply has been repaired over 4 years ago. When powering up from a power cycle it sometimes fails to boot and it will only display the RED power light with a very dim green LINK LED. It might take multiple power cycles to get it to boot. Thinking it my be the power supply I open up the unit and connected an external 5.4VDC source to it but it still hit or miss for it to boot.

I also forced the flash update by downloading the latest firmware and using the firmware recovery feature.

I notice that the PCB has some 470Mf caps that look slightly bulged. I ordered some and considering to replace them.

Anyone else have similar problem? Any suggest are welcome.

I had to do the capacitor replacement on my HD100 some years ago and it started working fine afterward. I would recommend doing the replacement. If it's still not working right then the bad capacitors likely caused permanent damage.

I finally received the replacement caps I ordered from China. I replaced all 470uF caps on the Main board and now the unit boot like normal.
