Tuning HDHR3s

I put tuning as the subject but honestly, I'm not sure what the problem is. I can see channel 12 (local NBC affiliate) in the preview thumbnail in the set up video sources section but when I try to watch it from the main viewer I get the "No Signal" message and nothing tunes.

I updated the tuner firmware and silicon dust software and rescanned both tuners and still get this message.

Any ideas?

thx

Did you perform a rescan with both the HDHR Setup utility AND from within Sage?

I'm assuming that "from the main viewer" means viewing from either Live TV or the Program Guide screens. In these cases, with multiple tuners, you have little control over which specific tuner Sage will use. I suggest going to Setup Video Sources for each tuner to verify channel 12. Typically, you'll find one tuner isn't working correctly. This commonly occurs if a tuner had previously been setup using a COPY of the program guide of another tuner, rather than selecting "use the same channel lineup".

Thx Fred. Your advice fixed my problem. I had re-scanned the hdhr software thoroughly but only re-scanned the first video source in SageTV. I went back and re-scanned all four and now channel 12 is working fine.
