Remote Control does not work

I fixed my licence issue, somehow my SageTV service issue (would not start, and gave error message) fixed itself, BUT now my remote does not work!

I have a USB UIRT, the current drivers (it's worked up til now) and I shut down the Sage Service and SAGEUI and the UI infor is still in both my sgae.properties and the backup file.

I ran the setup utility, and verified the selection of 'USB UIRT and any remote' but when I go to to check linked commands, I get no codes linked.

I have a Sony 8-Function Learning Remote Model: RMVL600. I changed it's batteries as well.

Any thoughts?

Does the red led on the USBUIRT blink when you hit a key on the remote?

well that means you it is somewhat working. I know I had a problem once, and it was my remote that quite sending.

Can you link a command?

If not, then the driver must not be loaded.

If so, then you pre-defined commands must not work any longer, for some reason.

At least that is what I would look at.

When I was setting up my USB-UIRT, I found a USB-UIRT Learn Helper Utility program useful to see the data that was being received by the USB-UIRT device. I attached a copy of the utility in ZIP form.
