Web portal for SageTV?
Hello! I was wondering if somebody might be able to let me know if there is a web portal for SageTV. I have been using MythTV on Ubuntu 7.0.4, and have seen that Tribune/Zap2it is ceasing their EPG on 1st September 2007. I have been investigating SageTV as an alternative to MythTV.
One of the best features of MythTv was the fact that I could program my schedules via the web. I find this very useful. It would be great if SageTV offered similar functionality. I have not yet purchased SageTV, and would like to stay on Linux. I could be very easily pushed to buy SageTV is there is a web portal. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you everyone! SageTV has a Placeshifter client, which offers the full SageTV UI at a remote location.
Or, check the customization forum's List of available customizations. One of the customizations is nielm's Webserver, which you can use in a browser to control SageTV's recordings & schedule, among other things. - Andy
