Dish network
So the installer is supposed to be here any time now. How is everyone connecting their dish network boxes with their Sage TV MC?
I have an HVR-1600 and will be getting a ViP722 HD DVR (for the wife as I just started building my Sage TV system) and (2) ViP211 HD receivers. S-video? RG-6? or am I missing something? I am not going to upgrade to the R5000 at this time. Thanks for your help. Flash |

S-Video is the way to go for the time being (less than 3 months hopefully , see the Hauppauge CES thread).
I'm using RG6 because of where my box is relative to my HTPC, but S-Video is noticeably better. I've got my USB-UIRT running a remote IR blaster through some extension cables to control it. |
