Question multiple recordings

hope i can explain the best I can here.

So I mainly get my signal from my direct tv receiver via rca's to my pvr-150mce tuner card however I am looking to see if with using this software if I would be able to also @ the same time get signal form my analog side via a converter box to get HD signals to obtain my local stations. or do I need two seprate tuner cards to do that?

What do you mean converter box?

With a single card, you can record one thing at a time (unless it's a dual-tuner like the PVR500). Now with the 150, you could setup two sources, S-VIdeo for DTV and RF for analog/locals, but you'd only be able to record one at a time (Sage handles that automatically).

If you want to get locals, I'd just get a second ATSC tuner.

You can't use the PVR150 to record two things at once. You will need two cards to do that. It only is a single encoder.

You are better off getting an ATSC tuner card and get your HD channels in true HD.
