Daylight Saving Time changes, Spring 2009 (links to info only)
It is almost time to change the clocks again in the US and Canada, or at least in most parts of those countries. The Spring switch is on March 8 this year.
If you've already updated your PC for the time changes earlier in 2008 or 2007, I think you will be fine now. If you've installed a new PC, maybe you need to update your operating system and/or Java. Some links to previous topics on this subject: Daylight Saving Time change (2007) Daylight Saving Time change (2008) From the 2007 topic: for info about which versions of Java have the update for DST changes, see this post. The DST topic for the time change will be this one: DST Discussion If anyone has links to more info about updating Windows, Java, etc., those suggestions can be posted here. All other posts should go in the DST discussion topic. Discussion posted here will be deleted or moved, depending on how much of a hurry I'm in. - Andy

Here's a reminder that the Spring 2009 DST change is coming up on March 8.
SageTV users should make sure their systems have been updated to handle the correct DST change date; the OS and/or Java may need to be updated. If your operating system and Java are both updated, then SageTV will use the correct time; if the time in SageTV is not correct after the DST change, you still need to update your OS and/or Java. If anyone has links to more info about updating Windows, Java, etc., those suggestions can be posted here. All other posts should go in the DST discussion topic. Discussion posted here will be deleted or moved, depending on how much of a hurry I'm in. - Andy
