Sage can't hear remote

Sage Client on a PC, Sage remote from HD200, USB-UIRT receiver.

I'm trying to link an HD200 remote to a Sage client for IR control but Sage cannot hear any IR commands sent by the remote.

The utility lrnhelper can hear the commands so the USB-UIRT and the remote are working.

I had this all working fine with this UIRT and this remote before removing and reinstalling Sage 6 weeks ago. I just got around to re-setting up the IR control this afternoon.

OK, I tried a remote from one of my cable boxes and Sage does hear that. I can map commands to buttons. Unfortunately that remote is unsuitable for use with Sage.

What is it about the remotes that come with the Sage extenders that keep a PC Sage client from recognizing IR from them?

I tested my HD200 remote with my USB-UIRT and had no problem using it. The codes toggle, so you would have to assign the same button to a command twice, but you should see a result in SageTV for the extender's remote. You see nothing in Detailed Setup -> Commands -> Show command while the USB-UIRT receiver is selected under the Remote Control Configuration option?

Nothing shows up there or if I try to assign a button on the remote to a command. I've tried 2 different USB-UIRT's, 2 different Sage remotes, a Harmony 880 setup as a Sage HD200 remote and a Hauppauge 34 button remote.

There has to be something broken in the Sage install. If I exit Sage lrnhelper hears all the IR codes just fine.

6 weeks ago this was my Sage server and was also used as a client. The remote worked just fine then. I built another PC and moved the sage server to it. On this PC i uninstalled the Full Sage and installed the Sage client SW. 6 weeks later I connect the USB-UIRT back up and try to set up the remote and ... nada.

Looks like I'll have to uninstall/reinstall the Sage client.
