WAF dropping quickly

Been using Sage and SageMC for over a year now, and it is awsome.

However, for some reason (maybe I changed something unknowingly), the "Video Category" screen has become very small and the words not readable.

We use this to assign categories to our DVD movies...but can no longer see the categories. Anyone have an idea? Maybe the new beta's broke...or I changed a setting somewhere.

Here is a screenshot.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a version of that problem on the screen where you maintain your TV series. It's only that way on one of my extenders so I just use my server or another extender to work around it, but hope someone here comes up with a fix, I've tried hitting options etc, but don't get any menus on/with which to make adjustments.

thanks

Try loading up the latest SageMC pre-release.

It's not an answer to your question, but I use genre's from DVD profiler to manage my movie library. I originally tried using SageMC categories, but found it very time consuming with all the extra button presses. Using DVD profiler allows you to get all the information that other folks have uploaded. I then replace the user supplied genre's with my own "categories"...kids and HD for instance. Not sure if your problem is just for data entry or for seeing the information when your trying to sort your videos. If it is the former switching horses is an option...

JMV, Thanks for explaining your method for categories....sounds like a good system. One question, how do you get the categories from dvdprofiler to be "read" by SageMC...so the Video menu uses them? Probably a dumb question...just trying to understand how the "outside sage" categories are used by sage.

It reads the Genre's, and I use Genre view. SageMC automatically sorts the videos in the appropriate Genre. I have 3 Genre's defined "Kids" and "Mom & Dad" and HD...HD is a all my blu-ray rips. In DVD profiler, I give all the DVD / Blu-rays in the collection either a genre of Kids or Mom & Dad, and give them a second "HD" genre if they are Blu or HD DVD...others use catagories like "Comedy" or "Action" etc, but I prefer to see all the movies for either my young kids, or for my wife and I...their are some nuances to get SageMC setup correctly (which .jar and where to put it, how to tell SageMC where to look for the database and the .xml collection data), and their are threads on the subject if you search the forums for "DVD profiler"...I like this method as it is more transportable and flexible and DVD profiler is a well supported app (although you do have to pay for it, I find it well worth the cost).

I had this happen to me and I put it down to loading a SageMC update without having loaded the full SageMC release first. How ever if you haven't changed anything I'm not sure the situation can be the same.

Once I had completed a reinstall and loaded the full SageMC before the latest update I no longer had the issue.

p.s. I found once I had the "small bars", if I went back one screen and into it again it was back to normal.

I was told a few weeks ago that SageMC now needs the Phoenix API library to work properly (and not just for fanart). I recently installed SageMC and had the same problem. When I installed the library the problem disappeared.

Search in the Download section for Phoenix API.
