Help with severe audio delay HVR-1250

Built my SageTV box about 18 months ago while on cable, had a few sync issues with my HVR-1250's on long-running programs. A restart of Sage usually fixed it. Not enough to impact WAF.

Fast forward to present, I am on UVerse and finally couldn't stand their bad DVR software, limited space, etc. anymore and switched back to my SageTV box.

Just bought a HD300 for playback. UVerse box is connected to the HVR-1250 via Coax, channels changing is via USB-UIRT.

Server specs: MSI 790GX-G65 mobo, AMD Phenom II x4 965, 4GB ram, Vista Ultimate, Hauppauge HVR-1250 x 2.

So, playing back Chicken Little while recording, Audio Sync is horrible. Within a minute or so, the audio is comically behind (probably 5-10 seconds). I've tried searching the forum without much in the way of finding anything useful.

Updated capture card drivers to the latest. Sage version is 7.0.23.246

I am most interested in having a reliable, synchronized system. If there are better cards, please let me know what I should be getting. I'd love to toss these and put in 2 Colossus cards, but I see that's not a cakewalk at this point either. Most important to me:

1. Stability
2. Audio/Video Sync
3. Video Quality
