How can I change channels on a Dish Hopper 3 from Sagetv v7?

Sage would likely work out better for you with a simple HD STB like a ViP-211k. DVR's don't make good sources for sage, because it's harder to make sure the box is viewing livetv, while an HD STB would always be outputing live.
