ip showing for server instead of name
Noticed on a SageTV 9 installation the clients are seeing the IP address of the server in the server list instead of the Server Name itself.

How to get it to show the Server Name instead of IP?

Is this in the choice of servers for extenders or Placeshifter? I still see server names, not IP addresses.

Server choice for extender (hd300).

My other SageTV 9 and SageTV 7 servers are showing up by hostname.

Not sure why this one is different...

I have observed that SageTV appears to favor using/displaying hostnames over IP address in the Linux version.

Clients: 1x HD300 (Living Room), 1x HD200 (Master Bedroom).
Software: OpenDCT :: WMC Live TV Tuner :: Schedules Direct EPG

This is a Windows SageTV 9.

The other Windows SageTV are showing hostname.

Where is this configured?

This includes another SageTV 9 Server on Windows that was newly setup.

Why are two brand new servers having different behavior - one shows hostname and the other ip address?

How to set which ?
