Sage HD Extender Remote Turns On/Off Receiver Too

I just setup my Sage TV HD Extender and found out that the remote control turn on/off both the Sage HD Extender and my Marantz SR5400 receiver. I have a Harmony 880 to control all my devices and will be looking to use it with the Sage Extender soon. Is there a way to change the IR code such that I don't control both devices when I go to turn on/off the Extender or receiver?

You can't reprogram the HD100 to respond to different IR codes to power it on/off, but there are a couple possibilities to try:

1) There are discrete power on and off codes you could try instead of the power on/off toggle. The Harmony database was supposed to have them already, but another topic has put that into question. If they aren't there now, maybe a future Harmony update will have them.

2) The 45-button Hauppauge remote's power button also works to turn the HD100 on/off. You could try programming your remote to use that button from the Hauppauge remote.
