Feature Request, Playback speedup...
Used to have a dvd player that did this. You watch a show or a movie that you want to see but seems to slow for your liking. You hit speedup and it plays the show faster without altering pitch or hurting the picture to bad.
Would love to speed up playback of a few shows I have.

WINDVD does this very nicely -- Up to 2x speed with understandable picture and audio.
If I expect a show to be a bore, I exit out of SageTV and use WINDVD to watch it at 2x. If I'm right and see that it is a bore, then I use WINDVD to watch it at 8x or 32x because WINDVD has a very nice smooth FF. Some HiDef recordings simply don't play back with my version of WINDVD 7, so SageTV and the HD Extender still get plenty of use. john
