Directv Audio Dropouts?
Is anyone else experiencing sound dropouts with Directv 5.1 audio (~2-3 per hour)? I have experienced this ever since I upgraded to a surround sound system last year. I initially thought it was an issue with my server or receiver but the sound dropouts appear to be in the recordings themselves. I also noticed that there are many other complaints about this on other forums from people with Directv dvrs connected to their sound 5.1 sound system via hdmi or spdif.
I have two h21 receivers connected via spdif to two hdpvrs and play back on an hd200 for surround sound via hdmi connected to an Onkyo receiver. I only notice it on 5.1 channels and do not notice it on any channels on my other, non surround sound tv.
