PlaceShifter does not connect
I need someone to lead me through this:
I installed PlaceShifter on a Laptop (Windows 7); the SageTV application is on my home multimedia machine also Windows 7. The home machine has the firewall disabled. I configured the PlaceShifter Connection manually to: Server TCP Port: 31099; IP Address: 192.168.1.46 Router: manually configured forwards Port 31099 to IP 192.168.1.46 The Router (Linksys WRT54G flashed with Tomato firmware) has UPnP Enabled. I tried UPnP auto setup, which worked, buy the way, but could not get a connection so went to manual configure. SageTV Placeshifter says if found the server but when I click connect: I get an error window 'the sagetv placeshifter is unable to connect to the specified sagetv media center. . . ' I am now out of town and want to connect to home. What is the problem?

Did you enable Placshifter in the setup of Sage and create a Placeshift user?
