Bug? Diamond Custom View Options

Trying to change the View Type on an existing Diamond Custom Movie View. The type does not get changed and a new additional view is added to the list instead of modifying the existing view.

Diamond 3.20 with Sagetv 7.1.5 on an HD300

If someone can confirm this I will log the bug.

It is a bug but I think it's a little different than you wrote.

We changed the logic when creating a NEW view to default the NAME to be the same as the TYPE. This is working as expected.

But.. it seems this change also changed the function for changing the TYPE so when you change the TYPE it also changes the NAME to be the same as the TYPE. If you already had a Flow with that NAME then it overwrites the existing one.

I will add it to the Issues list.

I think you are correct, but it is creating an additional view when trying to change the existing one. My views all have custom names and it is creating an additional view named for the view type as you said. Perhaps it is supposed to delete the original view and it is not?

Correct, if your old views had the default NAMES then it would replace one, but if you used custom NAMES then you get a new view with the NAME = TYPE.
