Move v6 files from old machine to new v7 machine

I have copied a bunch of v6 recordings onto my NAS.
v7 has the NAS directory listed in the recording directories list.
v7 doesn't list any of those files in Recorded TV.

How do I get v7 to recognize the v6 recordings as "its own"

(they were recorded by another, soon to be retired, machine)

ps. biggest disappointment with v7 so far is that you *still* can't navigate a plain vanilla windows network to find a shared directory.

And now you can't even type the unc in by hand anymore. Maybe we need to hand edit xml files...

Only way I know would be to copy the recordings back to their original path (on the new machine) and copy the old wiz.bin into the new install.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if that sticky was obsoleted with v7.
