Video Import Bug

I imported a video into SageTV. Because it is an mkv file, it will not play in the HD300, but it played fine with the mini-client. Well almost. The playback stops before the video is finished.

When I look at the video details it says it is 44 minutes long. Yet when I use MediaInfo on the file, it is 57 minutes and 40 seconds.

Take a look at the attached image. I have never seen this type of problem before.

AVC and AAC should playback correctly in a MKV container on a HD300. Does it playback completely on another player (VLC)?

It plays back fine in VLC and Plex.

Did you try my media format plugin or sagetvtranscoder plugin. Both of them use a much newer version of FFmpeg than core sage to detect the media.

Not sure that would help. The length was set when it was imported.

Ffmpeg is used when importing to detect the length.

I used the web interface to change the length to an hour.
