anyone else get a DirectTV firmware upgrade d10 serial gone....

My D10 stopped responding to serial commands, so I rebooted the box, when it came back up i had new overlay screens in green. When I noticed that I thought something was up, and sure enough a screen popped up that informed me that my receiver has new upgrades. I tried DTV control and I got timeouts, so for now I'm in IR-blaster until others report this or I have time to check things out more thoroughly.

Did you try adjusting the baud rate of your com port? I don't use serial control. However, I have read on other forums about the peterson serial control and the d11s. Looks like some people have had to switch between 9600 and 14.4 due to firmware updates.

I guess its just a local problem with my setup. I'll have to debug it this weekend I guess. Thanks for the replies...
